Logging in to MijnCN is safe due to the so-called 2-Factor Authentication. This is because you do not use one but two keys to open the lock to your account. First of all you confirm your identity with a secure password. Subsequently, you copy the unique code displayed in the MijnCN app into your telephone or tablet. Only after entry of this code, will you get access to your account. Here you can read how to enable 2-Factor Authentication.
Enabling 2-Factor Authentication is simple. Log in to MijnCN and click on ‘Account’. Subsequently follow the steps shown on the screen, which are also described below and shown in the video on this page.
Step 1: Search the Apple App Store (iOS) for: “MijnCN” or Google Playstore (Android) for: MijnCN”
Step 2: Download and install the MijnCN app on your mobile device
Step 3: Follow the instructions in the app
Step 4: Scan the QR code in the portal with the app
Step 5: Click on ‘next’ in MijnCN
Step 6: Enter the unique code displayed in the MijnCN app
Step 7: Click on ‘next’ to connect the App
Step 8: Click on ‘complete and download’
Step 9: Click on ‘Click here to download the backup code list’. You will use this list when you are unable to log in with the codes generated by the app or when you have lost your phone.

You can set your account so you can generate 2-Factor Authentication codes on multiple devices.
Step 1. Make sure that you have downloaded the MijnCN app on all devices which you want to use.
Step 2. Go to ‘Change or add connected device’ in your online account.
Step 3. If you have already enabled a 2-Factor Authentication in the MijnCN app, you must remove this account.
Step 4. Follow the steps on the screen to set 2-Factor Authentication for the MijnCN app****. Use the same QR code or secret key for all your devices.
Step 5. In order to check whether it works properly you can look whether de authentication codes generated by the MijnCN app are all the same on each device.
During enablement of 2-Factor Authentication you downloaded a backup code list. If you are unable to log in with the code generated by your app, you must use the codes on the backup list. In the ‘Account’ tab select the option ‘disable 2-Factor Authentication’. Follow the steps in the application to disable 2-Factor Authentication. Take into account that 2-Factor Authentication is mandatory for use of the online services of SZW.
Check whether you have installed the latest update of the MijnCN app. You can do this through the Apple App Store (Apple) or the Google Playstore (Android). Search for MijnCN in the store. Click on the button to update manually. Is this not working? Call the helpdesk.
